ZeroGrad is a non-profit applied science research lab based out of India. Our interests span various domains of AI primarily over Agents, Post-Training, RL and Vision, but we have plans to expand to other domains. On average we work on 6-7 research projects a year mostly in collaboration with other organizations and non-profits. We also provide resources and opportunities to students and beginners in research
Who We Are
We are a group of applied science researchers primarily based out of India. All of us have FTE at different organizations, we meet over the weekends to work over a few research projects at a time. Most prior and current works are done in collaboration with other researchers from organizations such as Cohere Labs, Google Deepmind, Anyscale, Etc…
We believe in simple ideas, strong relationships, and lasting impact. The number of people interested in research outnumbers the number of career opportunites and funding sources for other to get started. Yet, most of our work is self-supported and to an extent from unusual yet generous sources. Although the prior works were constrained in a “what can we do with only these resources” approach, that is likely to change this year. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
